Lodge a claim:

  • Please contact Guild Claims on 1800 810 213 to report the damage or alternatively lodge a claim online at guildinsurance.com.au/claims
  • Guild Claims will provide you with your claim number and the name of your claims specialist who will assist you through the claims process.
  • If you have any critical needs such as alternative accommodation, please contact Guild Claims as soon as possible on 1800 810 213 
If you have experienced any damage to your property:
  • Contact Guild Claims as soon as possible if you need to make urgent temporary repairs to prevent any further damage.
  • Keep records of any emergency repair expenses that you incur.
  • Take photos of the damage to your building and possessions.
  • Prepare a detailed inventory of damaged losses, including personal property.
  • If you have concerns about substances or asbestos, please advise Guild and also contact your local council.
If your business trading has been impacted and you are experiencing business interruption:
  • Advise Guild of the interruption.
  • Gather information on your income for 3 weeks prior to loss.
  • Provide confirmation of days/hours loss of trade and of your normal trading days/hours.
If you have a motor vehicle that has been impacted:
  • Advise Guild whether your car is driveable.
  • Provide the address of where your vehicle is located.
Additional assistance can also be provided by:
  • State Emergency Services (SES): The SES in your state or territory can assist with temporary protection by providing house tarpaulins or emergency accommodation, if required. To contact the SES in your area call 132 500 
  • Centrelink: You may be eligible for natural disaster payment support. Call Centrelink's emergency information line on 180 22 66
