Guild Insurance "Paste Invaders" Play To Win!

Terms and Conditions

 

 

1. By entering into the Competition, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by these conditions.

2. Instructions on how to enter the Competition and other details contained within the advertising material for the Competition form part of these terms and conditions.

3. Entry is limited to Australian residents who are delegates of the 38th Australian Dental Congress who are not employed by the Promoter or its related companies.

4. Entrants must be aged 18 years and over and each person may enter the Competition as many times as they wish. Entrants cannot win more than one day.

5. To enter the Competition entrants must play Guild Insurance’s Paste Invaders arcade game at the 38th Australian Dental Congress. This is a game of skill where the entrant who achieves this highest score on Paste Invaders wins.

6. The Competition commences at 9am on 02/05/19 and closes at 4pm on 04/05/19.

7. Judging of all competition entries will be conducted by the Promoter. Winners will be notified by telephone at the end of each day. The prizes will only be delivered in Australia and each entrant should allow six weeks from the Promotion close date to receive their prize.

8. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database, and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.  If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

9. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied unless authorised by the Promoter. The prize value includes GST and is in Australian dollars and is correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If a prize or part of is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value subject to any written directions from the relevant regulator.

10. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any additional costs or requirements associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

11. The prize is provided by the Promoter, Guild Insurance Ltd. ABN 55 004 538 863 of Level 13 171 Collins Street, MELBOURNE VIC 3000.

12. Details of the winner and the Competition will be published On Guild Insurance’s Website from 6th of May 2019.

13. The information supplied by you will be received, retained, used and disclosed by the Promoter, its related companies and business partners for the primary purpose of providing you with further information on evaluating, effecting, managing and administering products and services offered by the Promoter, its related companies and business partners. You may at any time request that no further marketing material be sent to you and you may access the personal information the Promoter holds about you by calling 1800 810 312.

14. Competition entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, state of residence and photo in the event that they are a winner in any media, including advertising, and agrees to participate in any promotional activities without payment, for the purposes of promoting the Competition and the Promoter’s business.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

16. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

17. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not this occurs under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
